IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 22, 2019 – The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) has selected Robert Klamser of Stretto, a market-leading bankruptcy administration and fiduciary services firm, as an honoree in its 2019 “40 Under 40” Emerging Leaders in Insolvency Practice award program. Klamser was chosen for his professional accomplishments and community leadership from a pool of more than 350 candidates evaluated by 12 independent judges.

“This 2019 class of honorees is incredibly accomplished and diverse, and well-representative of the multi-disciplinary nature of our community,” said ABI Executive Director Samuel J. Gerdano. “We look forward to engaging these young leaders in the full range of ABI’s activities, in service to the profession.”

Over the course of his career, Robert has managed every facet of the claims, noticing and balloting process for more than 100 high-profile bankruptcy engagements. As managing director at Stretto, Robert leverages his substantive corporate restructuring expertise with a keen understanding of case management logistics. Recognized as pioneering electronic claim filing and electronic balloting, Robert’s contributions have resulted in increased efficiencies for Chapter 11 case administration. He brings in-depth knowledge of workflow systems, operational processes and bankruptcy technology that enable his team to enhance their service offerings and to support clients’ needs at every stage of the restructuring process.

“It is a tremendous honor to be selected for ABI’s “40 Under 40” with so many talented professionals,” Klamser comments. “This recognition is a rewarding culmination of my professional endeavors. I look forward to continuing my career and involvement in the bankruptcy profession and the ABI community for many years to come.”

ABI’s “40 Under 40” honorees were chosen from both large and small firms from every region of the country, and represent diverse practice areas such as law, finance, consulting, academia, government and more. The goal of ABI’s “40 Under 40” initiative is not simply to create a one-time ceremony, but to fully engage those selected as future leaders in the insolvency profession and to build on the initiative each year. The honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony during ABI’s 2019 Winter Leadership Conference, taking place Dec. 5-7 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. For more information about ABI’s “40 Under 40” initiative, visit http://abi40under40.org.
