IRVINE, Calif., March 4, 2025 – Profiles in Diversity Journal selected Leticia Sanchez of Stretto, a market-leading legal services and technology services firm, as a recipient of the 2025 Latino and Hispanic Leadership Award. Leticia was recognized for her career achievements and leadership in her role as managing director at Stretto where she plays an integral role in the administration of some of the country’s largest corporate restructurings.

“We are proud to recognize these exceptional leaders and the organizations that support and empower them,” said James Rector, said Profiles in Diversity Journal’s Publisher James Rector. “Their leadership, expertise and impact exemplify the value of diverse perspectives in driving success and innovation.”

In her role as managing director at Stretto on the corporate restructuring team, Leticia provides clients with meticulous guidance on the claims-administration process including schedules and statements, solicitation, and contract review. Bankruptcy professionals rely on Leticia’s confident ability to tackle operational challenges and execute tailored solutions designed to streamline case-management processes and maximize clients’ time and cost efficiencies. Leticia has spearheaded the administration and case-filing progression for more than 17 notable Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases including Voyager, Express, Peabody Energy, Waypoint Leasing, White Star Petroleum, Alpha Media Holdings, Benefytt Technologies, Lakeland Tours and WorldStrides among others.

As part of the first generation in her family to attend and graduate from a university, Leticia worked multiple jobs in college to fund her education and support herself financially. Her hard work ethic has shone through in all of her achievements and was integral to her moving up from a part-time clerk position to her current role as a managing director where she manages her own cases.

“It is an honor to be recognized for my career endeavors and accomplishments alongside so many other talented Latino and Hispanic leaders,” Sanchez comments. “I greatly appreciate all of my colleagues, family and friends who have inspired me to reach my goals and I hope to inspire others to do the same.”

Leticia is among 28 award honorees selected in the 2025 Latino & Hispanic Leadership Award program. These leaders represent a broad range of industry sectors, from law and finance to education and healthcare, reflecting the diverse contributions of Latino and Hispanic leaders in today’s business landscape.  Their accomplishments will be featured in the Q1 2025 issue of Profiles in Diversity Journal in late March.
